Reading For Successful Children
Why it is important to read is an interesting question. Reading begins in childhood and what is read and how often reading takes place determines breadth of view and future success in life. Reading needs to be fun at an early age, so that the passion to read becomes habitual. There are many factors that can influence the way children think and act. At a very young age, children are easily influenced in deciding which path to take that would lead them to a successful future. The experiences they have in the real world will be the foundation on how they will live their lives and handle their problems.
The factors that affect children’s success vary depending on age, environment, discipline and values that are shared with them as they grow. Parenthood plays a major part in influencing a child’s life. Parents can greatly affect children’s life decisions, which are usually the trigger for the individual’s future success and outcomes.
Creating an environment that is positive and healthy for kids is a great way to help them achieve a successful future. Encouraging children to think of themselves will make them become more independent and self-sufficient. The ones who think greatly of themselves have a higher chance to be successful in life.
In definition, being successful means having favourable and prosperous ways to achieve desires, or endeavours. Most people who are truly successful started with humble beginnings. They encounter hardships, which lead them to pursue their endeavours through hard work and perseverance.
Today, there are so many available media types that can be utilised by children. The availability of information through the internet, TV, movies, and other forms can be easily accessed. The effects of these new kinds of media can either break, or make a child’s future success.
The most effective way to keep children on the right track is to encourage them to read books frequently. Though new technologies can be more exciting, reading books to kids is still the best thing that we can impart to children. Reading is one thing that would never grow old. Even though the books today are published in many forms, the art of reading great books will always be a conventional way to learn and be productive.
Books bring positive influence to people who read. Reading stimulates the mind to imagine, innovate, increase curiosity and most importantly, it provides knowledge and information that may be useful throughout life.
Reading is a great way to influence children to have a successful future. Assisting the little ones in good and productive activities will also help build great character and encourage positive attitudes.
Finally, reading great stories to children about adventures and magical creatures can help them become more imaginative and creative. The important thing is supporting children in what they love to do. When they have developed a passion for it, success will easily be achieved. The foundation of being successful starts in the younger years and reading can help them achieve it. Encouraging them to read and love books will assist children to find the path to success.
I wrote and illustrated the Charlie and Isabella series with the aim of achieving reading success for children in mind. The Charlie and Isabella Magical Adventure series are a set of books for children to enjoy reading and the stories are matched to the beautiful illustrations, which will help lead them a step closer to their reading success and goals.
